Springs Hill Water has notified the district of an issue with drinking water.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) issued a warning to Springs Hill that the drinking water being supplied to customers had exceeded the Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for total trihalomethanes. Energy sources like gas and other petroleum products are transported through underground pipelines. During Spring and Summer, digging activity such as landscaping and construction projects increase damage risks.

If you suspect a leak inside or outside of your home, avoid anything that could create a spark, leave the area by foot, warn others to stay away and call 911.
Do not re-enter the area until emergency responders have informed you that it is safe to do so.
