Principles of Applied Engineering

Navarro High School is offering Principles of Applied Engineering as a new CTE elective. If your child is interested in switching an elective choice to this new elective, please email Mr. Gary - john.gary@nisd.us . A description of the course follows:

Principles of Applied Engineering provides an overview of the various fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and their interrelationships. Students will develop engineering communication skills, which include computer graphics, modeling, and presentations, by using a variety of computer hardware and software applications to complete assignments and projects. Upon completing this course, students will have an understanding of the various fields of engineering and will be able to make informed career decisions. Further, students will have worked on a design team to develop a product or system. Students will use multiple software applications to prepare and present course assignments.

Attention Seniors: ImmTrac Deadlines

ImmTrac is an electronic immunization registry that your vaccinations were reported to by your doctors as you grew up. In order to keep these records available electronically to you as an adult you will need to fill out the adult consent form that was sent home through your English class this week. Mail the form in between your 18th and 19th birthday or your record will be deleted from the system. Extra forms are available in the nurse’s office. Click the link to get a copy of the form.
