Really good website to use for planning! Café College - click on the Junior link on the page Some scholarships are open for juniors as well as other grades.

  • Check your grades and your 4-year plan

  • PSAT - take this test in October. Your counselor will have more information

  • Attend college presentations on campus. Listen for announcements of who will be here

  • Take the SAT or ACT

  • Fill out the Apply Texas Application. You can't submit it until August 1st but start getting it ready

  • Write your essays for admission and have your English teacher look over them for you

  • Begin to request letters of recommendation

  • Update your resume
