Guadalupe Valley Pecan Classic Scholarship: To be eligible for the Guadalupe Valley Pecan Classic Scholarship, you must be a graduating senior, a resident of Guadalupe County, and have exhibited steers and/or heifers for a minimum of 2 years at the annual summer show. Application are in the counselor office. Deadline is June 4, 2022

Kingsbury Masonic Lodge Scholarship: Eligibility requirements and details: a) must be in a two or four year college, university, technical, or vocational school., b) Be a US citizen or permanent resident. c) be in the top 50% of the graduating class. d) have satisfactory SAT/ACT scores and a GBA ranking, e) Financial need, f) Funds will be paid directly to registrar's office, g) Funds can be used for tuition, books, and on campus housing, h) scholarship amount is $1,000, i) Deadline is April 15, 2022. Pi Eta Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship: Scholarship application is now available in the counselor's office. See Ms. Epp. Deadline is April 1st.

Erwin-Lee Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to one athlete or band member and one to a FFA member. Applications are located in the counselor's office. Deadline is April 27, 2022.

Geronimo Lions Scholarship Application: This open scholarship is for any senior graduating and enrolling in a 2 yr or 4 yr college/university. Application are in the counselor's office. Deadline for this scholarship is Friday, April 22, 2022

LULAC COUNCIL 682 SCHOLARSHIP: Eligibility requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship, 1) Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). 2) Must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an associate's degree. Graduate students must have applied to or be enrolled as a part-time student in a college or university. For application and more information, please visit the counselor's office. Deadline is March 31, 2022.

Seguin Chapter 555 Order of the Eastern Star Scholarship: This scholarship is open to Graduates of Guadalupe County Schools attending college or university of his/her choice or any trade school. Student should mail completed form to the scholarship committee by April 18, 2022. Applications are in the counselor's office.

First United Methodist Church (FUMC) Scholarship : This scholarship is for a senior who attended FUMC Weekday School in Seguin. For a copy of the application and instructions on scholarship, please visit the counselor's office. Deadline is March 25, 2022.

Taylor Hudson memorial Scholarship 2022: This scholarship has been set up in memory of Taylor Hudson. There are four scholarship awards available in the amount of $1,250 each. They will be given to four deserving students based on a thorough review of their application and essays. Students who are attending technical schools, police academy or community colleges as well as universities may apply. Deadline is April 15th and applications are in the counselor's office.

Preceptor Beta Epsilon XP 886 Scholarship: This year we will be fiving 3 $1,000. scholarships to seniors who are attending a four year or two year college or university. In addition to completing an application the following must be submitted: 1. List of employment during high school years. 2. Essay 3. Extracurricular activity sheets 4. (3) Evaluation signed by teachers and counselor. 5. Official Transcript. Suggested but not required: two letters of recommendations. Deadline is March 25th.

The Texas Legislative Conference Public Service Scholarship application is now available online. This scholarship is for a student who plans to attend a college, university or trade school in Texas and concentrate in government and/or public service to include but not limited to Political Science, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Law Enforcement, Military Service, Firefighter Training, Education, Non-profit Management, and Public Safety. Navarro Athletic Booster Club Scholarship is available in the counselor's office or online at Navarro Athletic Boosters Club site. Deadline is the first Wednesday of April. (April 6, 2022)

Seguin Rotary Club Endowed Scholarship now available in the Counselor's office. This Application is for Vocational or Academic Scholarship Awards and the deadline is April 1, 2022.

Allen Dreibrodt Memorial Foundation Scholarship: Eligibility Requirements - 1. Applicant must be currently enrolled in FFA or 4H 2. Applicant must have participated in a qualifying area Youth & Livestock Show for a minimum of 2 years. 3. Applicant must have an overall "B" or above average. 4. Applicant must graduate from a qualifying area High School prior to June 30, 2022. 5. Applicant must continue his/her education beyond high school and provide a copy of his/her registration with the higher education institution to the Allen Dreibrodt Memorial Foundation. Application are available in the counselor's office. Deadline is April 1 2022

The Seguin Sunrise Rotary Scholarship Foundation Vocational Scholarship Application is now available to ALL GRADUATING SENIORS of Navarro High School. Application deadline is April 22, 2022 and can be picked up in the Counselor's office.

The Seguin Sunrise Rotary Scholarship Foundation Interact Scholarship: The interact Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who are members of the Navarro Interact Club. Application and Yearly Data Sheet is attached to scholarship. Deadline is April 22, 2022. Application are in the counselor's office.

Ann & Bethany Bertling and Tristan Gonzalez Foundation Scholarship: Eligibility Requirements ; 1. Applicant must be currently enrolled in FFA or 4H. 2. Applicant must have participated in the Guadalupe County Youth Show for a minimum of 2 years. 3. Applicant must have an overall B average. 4. Applicant must graduate from high school prior to June 30, 2022. 5. Applicant must continue his/her education beyond high school and provide a copy of his/her registration with the higher education institution to the ABT Foundation. Applications can be picked up in the counselor's office . Deadline for this scholarship is March 25, 2022 by the end of school day. (3:30 PM)

Four Rivers Association of REALTORS Scholarship: For a copy of this scholarship application, visit the counselor's office. Deadline is Monday, April 4th. The scholarship is open to the graduating class of Navarro High school.

Kiwanis Club of Seguin Scholarship: Guidelines for this scholarship are: Applicants must be in their senior year of high school. Applicant must complete fifty (50) hours of volunteer service within the community, verified in writing by the recipient organization(s). The 50 hours may come from all grades during high school. For more guidelines visit the counselor's office for a complete application. Dead line is April 22, 2022. Navarro FFA Booster Club scholarships: Scholarships are intended to assist and reward senior agricultural student who have shown academic potential, leadership, and extracurricular involvement. For application and more information , visit the counselor's office. Application deadline is April 21, 2022 at NOON.

Guada-Coma Scholarship: Qualifications for this scholarship 1) Parents or Grandparents must be members of Guada-Coma Independent Cattleman's Association. 2) Must include a copy of current high school transcript 3) Include on letter of recommendation. 2022 Buck Fever Scholarship: Open to all graduating high school seniors from Guadalupe County and surrounding counties who have participated in Buck Fever Events. Application available through high school counselor's office. Deadline is March 31, 2022.

Panther Posse Scholarship: Minimum Qualification: 1). 3.0 GPA or better, 2) At least one varsity letter ( including cheerleading) 3) Must be attending college in fall of 2022. 4) Must submit a brief essay on "what participating in Navarro sports has meant to them". (no more that a page and half) Applications are in the counselor's office. Deadline is 3/21/2002.

American Legion Post 245 (Seguin) is proud to support Guadalupe County in the 2022 Oratorical Scholarship Program (A Constitutional Speech Contest).  Students have the opportunity to earn educational scholarships for their public speaking ability (8-10 minute prepared speech and 3-5 minute assigned topic speech).  Awards are given at Local, District, State and National levels culminating into $30,000 for the overall Winner.

Luling Foundation Healthcare Scholarship: This scholarship is in the amount of $2,000. to be dispersed over the Fall and Spring semester of the student's Freshman year. It will be rewarded to one student pursuing a healthcare related degree from each county served by the Foundation(Caldwell, Gonzales, and Guadalupe). For application visit the counselor's office. Deadline is MARCH 31, 2022.

Luling Foundation Agricultural Scholarship: (The Luling Foundation will provide a total of $1,000 to each student recipient : a matching grant has been established through the Margaret Steiner Endowment.) It will be rewarded to one student pursuing an agriculture related degree from each county served by the Foundation(Caldwell, Gonzales, and Guadalupe). For application visit the counselor's office. Deadline is MARCH 31, 2022.

Luling Foundation Trade/Vocation School Scholarship: This scholarship is a one-time amount of $1,000. to be dispersed before the Fall semester of the student's freshman year. It will be rewarded to one student pursuing a trade/vocation degree/certification from each county served by the Foundation (Caldwell, Gonzales, or Guadalupe County). Deadline is March 31, 2022. Texas Farm Credit invites you to submit an application to their Ag Champs program and marsh Martin Scholarship program. Students may apply for both programs by completing one simple application. GBRA Scholarship: Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Scholarship program is now open to accept applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Graduating seniors who reside in the GBRA service area are encouraged to apply. For more information or to submit the application, visit bit.ly/GBRA-Scholarship. The deadline for this application is January 30, 2022.

GVEC will be offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors again this year. The deadline is February 1st. Seniors apply early and once again GVEC has a separate TRADE SCHOOL application for students planning on attending a trade school. Students can access the online application at www.gvec.org. As part of the online application, students will be asked to upload a copy of their high school transcript for the 2021-2022 school year. The scholarship application must be submitted online prior to 11:50 PM on Saturday, February 1st, 2022.

H-E-B is a Corporate Sponsor of the UIL and has its annual H-E-B Scholarship Program for Community Service Excellence opportunity.   Nominees must have the following submitted to https://www.sportsinaction.com/scholarship/ by no later than January 28, 2022:

 

  • Minimum 3.3 GPA

  • Number of Community Service Hours completed in the last 12 months

  • Community Service Verification Letters to document the number of hours submitted

  • A Letter of Recommendation

  • A Short Essay (500 words or less) on the topic: “What does Community mean to you?”

 

There will be 15 total winners – 5 each in music, academics and athletics – and each will be awarded $2,000 from H-E-B. An announcement of the winners will be at the UIL Boys Basketball State Championships.  Please make your students and/or support staff aware of this opportunity.
